Brodart Graphic Novels | 09/23/2005 |
A story of a Jewish survivor of Hitler's Europe and his son, a cartoonist who tries to come to terms with his father's story and history itself. Spiegelman uses anthropomorphic animals to portray the people as he tells a personal story of the Holocaust and its effects on his own family. This is the first of two volumes, and together they helped Spiegelman win the Pulitzer Prize. BRODART CO., c2005. |
